The new laser wand is aluminum, much lighter, has a hole for a lanyard which is included and better switching mechanism.This tiny battery powered Lazer Wand projects thousands of green laser starbeams on a very wide angle, so that the beams fill any room or yard. It is similar to the Bliss Light 15 commercial unit with amazing power and a range of over 150 feet. It actually has more powerful beams and the same super wide 160 degree spread as the Bliss 15. This is the perfect "magic wand" to have in your pocket at raves, parties, Burning Man, festivals, dance clubs and more! It will work outdoors as well as indoors with a fantastic faerie firefly appearance when projected on trees and shrubs. This Laser Wand is the only handheld laser projector with on/off switch that stays on for up to 8 to 10 hours, unlike most others where you must hold the on button down. Other handheld laser projectors have this need because the use up batteries within an hour or two when depressed constantly. This laser wand uses a lithium battery for operation up to 10 hours on one battery. This makes it possible to place the Laser Wand on a ledge aiming across a room, in a dry cup facing towards the ceiling, hanging from a light fixture causing beams to cover the floor or even a shade structure or tree branch  where slight movements will make the beams wiggle make wave patterns on the ground. The possibilities are endless.

Just four inches long and less than 0.75 inches in diameter, this Class II lazer is powered by a CR2123A battery, and is rated at less than 5 milliwatts total and less than 1 milliwatt per laser beam. It easily slips into a purse or pocket, but don't let that fool you, the H5 Laser Wand will create a delightful and intriguing starfield that will fill the smallest room to giant auditoriums and everything in between.   A battery is included with the Lazer Wand and is expected to last up to 8 hours of continuous operation. 90 day warrantee. Although this laser is rated for safe use and there are no known cases of eye damage from a class II or lower laser, it is not recommended to look into the light at less than 6 inches from the lens.

Beware that lasers are sensitive to cold temperatures and will not operate until warmed up. You may need to put it in your pocket for awhile when it won't turn on from getting too cold.
