The Bliss Light 50 is the newly patented product that started the magic series of Starfield projectors which are becoming famous for projecting a Starry Night Sky in venues across the nation. Equipt with newly developed laser and LED lighting elements and Multiphase high resolution Holographic Optical elements on synchronous motors. The Bliss Light 50 generates an enormous “universe of stars” over a blue nebula cloud field that wows spectators. This powerful laser has become very popular with DJs, event producers, wedding planners, landscape architects and home owners for its amazing effects. It is carefully tested and FDA approved for its safe viewing of the laser beams except for eye contact within a few inches of the lens. No variance or permits are needed for its use by unlicensed tecnicians in public settings. The BL50 is ideal for those large venues with lots of area to cover. The beams radiate at 160 degrees from the lens, covering all surfaces from immediately in front of the projector to 150 feet away, or more. This is the largest power unit available outside of custom orders. The Bliss Light 15 is about half the power with a less laser starbeams due to a slightly simpler optical lens and its reduced power but it still can fill large halls with beams at 1/3 the cost. These laser beams are completely safe! They are tested carefully and FDA approved guaranteeing that no beams coming out of the box are potentially harmful, after you are more than a few inches from the lens. This uses a Laser Classified - FLPPS Class IIa which requires no variance, licensing or permitting to operate it. Each laser beam is less than 5mw in power (similar to a laser pen). They are used by DJs and homeowners across the nation.

This amazing new lighting projector design was created by our dear friend LaserRandy aka Randy Johnson after years of presenting big laser shows at Burning Man and other festivals and he designed the Starfield Projector as a night light for his kids. When his friends saw them we all encouraged him to go into production in 2006 and make them for all of us and the enthusiasm has been building and more products produced ever since then. Now besides the models you see here Randy is designing custom computer interfacing systems for big theme parks around the globe. If you have ever attended Burning Man you will remember seeing these huge laser beams that are visible for miles projecting over the head of the Burning Man in the center of the Playa. Now more and more of our lighting effects are being used at this enormous art festival each Labor Day in Northern Nevada. For those of you planning on running these lights away from an AC power connection you will need a generator or an inverter that delivers a pure Sine Wave, not a quasi sine wave or modified sine wave.

Randy Johnson is the Chief Inventor and co-founder of BlissLights. His distinguished career began at Hughes Aircraft where he was involved with the development of speed of light trajectory analysis systems. Randy parlayed his laser expertise at Hughes into the entertainment industry where he helped develop laser lighting effects for the Broadway production of Peter Pan starring Sandy Duncan. Continuing in the entertainment industry, Randy went on to create and develop laser projection systems and special effects for major theme parks including Sea World, Universal Studios and Disneyland Anaheim, as well as for casinos in Las Vegas and Reno. The BlissLights story began in 2004 when inventor Randy Johnson was looking for a soothing lighting effect that would help his young daughter fall asleep at night. Randy developed what would become the prototype for the first BlissLight.  This prototype, shaped like a sleepy star with softly glowing edges, cast a soothing field of stars that lulled her into a peaceful, blissful sleep night after night, and the BlissLight was born.
